Project Preparation: What to Do Before We Arrive

While we are experts at identifying native species, if you have specific saplings or "prize" oaks you want us to steer clear of, please mark them with bright landscaping tape or flags. This ensures they are protected even in dense cedar thickets.

Please walk your property (if accessible) and mark any of the following:

• Property Pins/Boundary Stakes: To ensure we stay within your lines.
• Utilities: Septic lids, shallow water lines, or underground electrical.
• Metal Objects: Old T-posts, barbed wire, or "junk piles" hidden in the brush can damage the mulching teeth.

Ensure there is a clear entry point for our truck and trailer (usually requiring about 10–12 feet of width). If there are locked gates, please ensure we have the code or that they are left open for the scheduled start time.

If there are specific areas you want "park-like" and other areas you want left as "wildlife screen," have those boundaries clear in your mind so we can walk the line together before the mulchers start spinning.
